Ricoh Australia has appointed integrated marketing strategy and services agency McCorkell to produce its marquee events schedule in 2019.
The addition of Events to the Ricoh service schedule extends the appointment of McCorkell as the master strategic agency earlier this year. In a three-way competitive pitch, McCorkell secured the contract win for advisory and execution services across brand, creative, marketing technology, content, campaign execution, digital and direct marketing, advertising and product launches.
Ricoh CMO, Tori Starkey headed up the pitch process following her move from VMware to lead marketing and product as part of Ricoh’s commercial transformation strategy under Managing Director, Andy Berry.

McCorkell will now lead out delivery of the 2019 Corporate Sales Kick Off along with marquee industry events, Integrate, Printex and ASBA, which represent a significant proportion of marketing attributable sales revenue for Ricoh year on year.
The win follows closely from McCorkell announcing its appointment as B2B marketing services agency for Australia Post only weeks ago. The Managing Director identified the advisory strength of the team as contributing to the continued growth of the agency.
