Brief: Brand Connect APAC is an annual event planned to provide mid-senior marketing and media executives an overview of content marketing and the unique role LinkedIn can play.
The goal of the 2013 Brand Connect event was to provide a tailored conference to establish LinkedIn as a thought leader in the field of content marketing across APAC, and educate the target audience on the LinkedIn offering.
Solution: Providing complete end-to-end event management and strategic planning to drive attendance and offer a memorable opportunity to educate like-minded professionals on LinkedIn as is the model advertising platform for content marketers.
McCorkell engaged an internationally renowned keynote speaker Dave Kerpen (CEO at Likeable Local, NY Times Best-Selling Author & Keynote Speaker) to enhance content and drive attendance. An interactive custom built conference app was developed specifically for the event, including real time polling and feedback. Registration augmentation reaching out cato some of McCorkell’s most relevant contacts in the region and industry.
Complete event theming & branded glow furniture throughout venue from stage, reception, buffet area and cocktail event. The strategy/planning and delivery of the campaign lead a total of 239 attendees (65% attendance rate). Exceeding client expectations.
