In a collaborative effort with Barracuda Networks and its partners, McCorkell successfully organised the Barracuda ANZ Partner Summit 2025. The event took place at Doltone House in Sydney and offered an enriching afternoon focused on the future of cybersecurity and innovation. Attendees gained a valuable platform for learning, collaboration and connection, all aimed at achieving collective success.
The summit agenda was designed to address pressing challenges and highlight emerging opportunities within the cybersecurity landscape. One of the key highlights was the keynote address by Barracuda Networks’ CEO, Hatem Naguib. He explored critical topics and shared Barracuda’s strategic roadmap. Furthermore, he emphasised the transformative role of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in strengthening cyber defences and examined the evolving dynamics of cybersecurity partnerships. Importantly, his address reinforced the company’s commitment to innovation and its proactive approach to an increasingly complex threat environment.
In addition, the summit welcomed special guest speaker Jinan Budge, Vice President & Principal Analyst at Forrester. She brought deep expertise and offered attendees a nuanced perspective on security and risk management. Moreover, she addressed the challenges of leadership in the cybersecurity domain and highlighted the human element that underpins effective cyber resilience. Her presentation also examined the shifting global threat landscape, with a strong focus on how AI is redefining security technologies. At the same time, she demonstrated how AI is reshaping organisational culture and risk management frameworks.
